Finding a name that isn't already claimed is tough. So we looked to what inspires us most — aerospace, engineering, and industrial design — and built something new from something familiar.
Meet Ailero.
The name comes from aileron — the small, movable part of an airplane wing that controls its roll and helps it turn. It's a subtle but essential piece of what keeps a plane agile, balanced, and moving forward. That idea captures exactly how we think about product design: precise control, smooth movement, and momentum toward what's next.
Our logo reflects the same spirit — a stylized NACA airfoil overlaid on a planetary form, symbolizing lift, motion, and limitless potential. It represents both our engineering mindset and our belief in what's possible when design and technology work together.

Matt is a product designer passionate about helping cross-functional teams build digital products, services, and experiences from first principles.
He previously led product design for Construction Financials at Built Technologies, the leading provider of construction and real estate finance technology. Prior to Built, he helped grow Veritonic, an audio intelligence company and the first research and analytics platform built to quantify the value of sound in advertising.
Matt has a background in designing and building web apps — from drafting rapid prototypes and assembling designs in code to crafting design systems and shaping user behavior — and leading small teams in solving complex problems with big impact.
